For or during?

For se usa cuando va seguido de un período de tiempo
Ej.: I was waiting for him for two hours.
      I haven't seen her for three weeks.
During se usa cuando va seguido de un suceso/evento.
Ej.: I couldn't be quiet during the interview.
      She didn't say anything during the meal.
